Bilateral fracture of the lateral condyle, Salter-Harris type IV.

Cancho wasn’t lucky enough to end up with a responsible owner, and at just four months old he will have to learn to live a different kind of life.

He suffered a severe trauma as a very young puppy; this usually happens when you fall from a considerable height. His owners decided to abandon him; the pound picked him up, and from there they called us. We promise we ran as fast as we could, but this time we got there too late; we don’t know when this big impact happened, but we do know that too much time has passed to be able to repair his fractures.

Today, during surgery, the tiny bones were shattered and full of arthritis. And no, this time we have to tell you that there is no possible repair, and our handsome boy will have to learn to walk like this.

But you can’t imagine how lovely he is—unbelievably sweet and calm, and so well behaved… He’s a born fighter, a true bichoraro.

So from today on, we’ll let him rest, treat his pain, and love him no matter how he ends up.

We’re sure he’ll manage just fine and become the most handsome boy of all.

And yes, he will live with us as a good bichoraro unless some family can look past his injury, see his little eyes, and love him just the way he is.
