Leishmania
YELLOW arrived at BICHOSRAROS in critical condition, barely able to survive. Both of her ears had been cut off, and she suffered from a leishmania infection so severe that she couldn’t even move or stand. Treatment with glucantime was started, and this sweet and affectionate little girl bounced back and showed us her zest for life and fun. She’s very good and super happy. She loves being by your side and feeling your affection; she spends all day looking up to make you smile! She knows how to share and gets along well with her companions, both big and small. She’s good with cats but hasn’t lived with them. She’s very calm and prefers to spend time lying down. She’s not suitable for families who want to exercise, given her build and shoulders; due to the malnutrition she suffered, she has little muscle strength. She’s a sweetheart and only asks for cuddles.
YELLOW arrived very weak and sick, unable to walk, but BICHOSRAROS’ care and pampering, along with her treatment for leishmaniasis, have brought her back to life!
