Tigan is a boy full of life. He’s one of those dogs who truly enjoys being a dog—the little details, jumping in the rain, running, sniffing scents in the grass, and the company of people.
When Tigan sees you arrive, he sits down and follows you with his gaze, hoping you’ll come over so he can jump on you. He stays still while you rub his belly, and when you stop, he follows you closely to see if today is the day he gets to walk around the property.
Tigan is one of those dogs who needs a guide to feel complete. He has a great time at the shelter, but if you look into his eyes, you can see that something is missing.
If you decide to spend some time with him, you’ll feel his strength, vitality, and great joy.
He’s a majestic dog, eager to go on walks, although he currently pulls on the leash because we can’t walk him daily. But he would love it.
Tigan is affectionate with people and gets along with both big and small dogs without any issues, though he doesn’t play much with them. He prefers to play with people.
He’s not suitable for living with cats. 😿
He’s a very intelligent dog with a strong desire to learn.
Currently, he moves well and can jump and run, although he has a slight limp because one of his legs didn’t fully recover from being hit by a car.
The ideal family for Tigan would be active people who understand that, although he wants to, he can’t do daily 10 km hikes to avoid straining that leg. But in a normal lifestyle with regular walks, he can keep up without any problem.
All dogs deserve a home, but it saddens us to see that Tigan isn’t completely happy with us because he really needs the support of a guide.
Health: In 2022, he was hit by a car and suffered fractures in both front legs.
