Hidalgo is a cheerful, affectionate boy; he loves people, dogs, and cats. Every day he becomes even sweeter and kinder. He still has some sensitivity in his legs since his accident, so he doesn’t like them being touched; a home without small children would be best for him. However, he loves cuddles—when he asks for them.
He was hit by a car and broke two of his legs; his recovery was slow, and he went through a lot of pain. At first, he was frightened by our touches, but with time, he began to trust again. He’s comfortable living with other dogs, and we know he would be very happy in a calm, gentle, and loving family—one that respects his space and isn’t too overwhelming, especially without small children who might stress him.
There are no traces of his injury now; he’s completely recovered. He runs, jumps, and is a happy little dog.
