Born: 2014 – Breed: Mixed – Female
Weight: 10.5 kg
Positive for leishmania with ligament involvement in the right leg and skin lesions.
Chari was abandoned at the animal shelter due to her medical problems and had been there for many years until Macu saw her and decided to bring her to BICHOSRAROS to give her a second chance. Her face of happiness when she saw herself free, living with more dogs, was incredible … We just want her life to be better, with no more shadows and cold kennels!
Upon her arrival, she received the treatments she needed to address her leishmaniasis and her skin and eye condition, and as of today, she is physically much better. She does not seem like the same animal: she runs, plays with the other dogs, jumps… the only problem she has is a limp in one of her legs due to a ligament tear that is pending evaluation by the orthopedic surgeon to decide the therapeutic approach. She is a good, obedient being; she is affectionate and calm.
Chari is a very curious dog; she likes other dogs, she enjoys inviting them to play, and she also likes to follow you and lie down next to you. She is not afraid and walks wonderfully on a leash. We know that this case is one of the difficult ones, but that doesn’t mean we will stop introducing you to this happy old lady who still has a lot of life to enjoy!
Would you like to adopt her and give her a home where she can be happy for the rest of her life?
Would you like to be her godfather/godmother and help us with her maintenance and care?
