Brenda arrived weak, with little fur and small wounds on her body and ears, but after receiving treatment for leishmaniasis, our beautiful girl is now gorgeous and almost fully recovered. Some areas of her skin are taking a bit longer to grow hair back, but we’ll give her all the time she needs to heal completely.
Brenda is WONDERFUL; she’s good with dogs, good with people, and good with cats. She’s fun, cheerful, and always ready to do things; she loves cuddles, and having her ears scratched is a real treat for her. Food drives her crazy—she eats enthusiastically and is always the first to grab a treat.
She’s an attentive little dog, not fearful at all; she walks perfectly on a leash, and she was very calm and cooperative during her injected treatment.
Plus, she’s super small—a fantastic dog for a family that enjoys going for walks and doing activities together with their dog.
