Biela was found wandering with her brother Jako. So we don’t know anything else about her past. What we do know is that Biela’s past was not positive. Her left hind leg has clearly suffered a poorly healed fracture, and she is missing 3 toes on her right leg (she arrived with a large cut on them that required intensive care). She is awaiting evaluation by an orthopedic surgeon to see if her leg can be operated on. When she arrived, she couldn’t move; however, now she has regained her mobility and moves around with complete normality. She has a very pleasant personality, which is not always common in Spanish water dogs. She has a sweet and gentle look and is calm and good with other dogs. We are very aware that this dog is «physically a bit broken,» but she is fine and deserves a home where she can be happy.
