Getting to know Peter has shown us that not all podencos have springs in their feet, that not all of them are hyperactive, and that not all of them bark like crazy. Podenco dogs are often energetic and independent, but many can also be calm and observant like Peter.
Peter is very observant; he stays up on top of the rock watching all his buddies.
He’s not intense or annoying with other dogs.
He’s a bit shy at first, but of course, he has never had the support of a family to show him the good side of people.
He’s one more leftover from this year’s hunting season. With the sweetness he has, we understand that he was of no “use” to the hunters.
Now Peter is looking for a good, loving family who really wants to give him lots of love.
