Aaron is a forgotten grandpa, left at the shelter at 14 years old… It’s truly heartbreaking what they’ve done to this little dog. We just can’t get used to it.
Aaron is now deaf, and his little legs are weak, but he loves going for walks everywhere; he goes back and forth all the time, sniffing around, climbing rocks, keeping himself busy, and he’s happy.
Then he lies down and sleeps, sleeps.
He gets along well with other dogs, lives peacefully with them, and doesn’t compete for food or toys.
We’ll try to give this grandpa a good retirement at the shelter, but if someone could make room for him in their home and give him daily cuddles, that would be the best thing that could happen to him.
