Freya lived her entire life in the care of a hunter until her hind legs stopped working. Since she was no longer useful for hunting, her owner wanted to put her to sleep. That’s when she was rescued and brought to BICHOSRAROS. We estimate she is 10 years old because she arrived with no identification. Freya’s problem is that she suffers from a herniated disc that wasn’t treated at the time and can’t be treated now; this causes her difficulty moving her hind legs. She walks very slowly and with difficulty; some days she’s better, and other days it’s harder for her to move. She’s an adoptable dog, but she has a hernia that makes walking difficult; she walks very little. She’s a dog who should be in a warm house, walking only when necessary, and well cared for.
